National Average Slips Slightly Lower

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.07, nine cents lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.37 a gallon, a nickel lower than Friday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.93 a gallon, fourteen cents lower than Friday. Oklahoma drivers are paying the lowest prices in the nation, with an average of $3.42, down two cents from Friday. California drivers are paying a statewide average of $5.84 a gallon, eight cents lower than Friday.
