Unit 4 Board Meets This Evening

(Oblong) — The Oblong Unit 4 School Board meets this evening. On the agenda in “Old Business,” the board will hear a report from the Academic Foundation, discuss and consider the approval of Substitute Teachers, Aides, Bus Drivers, Cooks, Nurses, and Custodians, as well as the donation of a 9’x12’ storage shed from Oblong Music Boosters. In “New Business,” the Unit 4 Board will approve IESA Membership for the 2026-2027 school year, get a report from the Oblong Sports Boosters, discuss the Grade School Summer School request, a 3rd Grade trip request, and the FFA request to attend the Illinois State FFA Convention. The Oblong Unit 4 Board meets this evening at 6 p.m. in the Library of the Grade School. There will be a closed session “Special Meeting” held at 5:30 p.m.
