“Spring Clean Up” Begins Next Week in Robinson

(Robinson) — Robinson residents will have a chance to get rid of some extra trash soon. The City of Robinson’s “Yard Waste Spring Clean Up” is set for April 27th to May 1st. The ” Republic Spring Clean Up” in Robinson will run from May 4th to the 8th. There are a handful of items Republic will not take, including tires, liquid paint or flammable materials, appliances and/or electronics, AC units, hazardous materials, propane tanks, batteries, and construction materials. They also remind customers that carpet must be cut into 4-foot sections to be picked up and mattresses must be wrapped in plastic and sealed. The City of Robinson will hold an “Electronics Take Back Day” on May 9th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Robinson Wastewater Treatment Facility. For additional information, visit cityofrobinson.com.
