(Undated) – It is “pumpkin season” and one resident is taking that to “the next level.” Troy Winterrowd has successfully grown two pumpkins with a combined weight of over two thousand pounds. According to Winterrowd, one of the pumpkins “Donald Trumpkin,” has been officially weighed in at eight-hundred-eighty pounds. The second pumpkin, affectionately known as “Purdy” is estimated to weigh over thirteen hundred pounds. Winterrowd says despite the challenges posed by the heat and humidity, which have affected the growth of many crops in the region, he has worked through rain, wind, and dry conditions to ensure these pumpkins reached their full potential.
