Lady Maroons Took Two of Three in Saturday Action

(Robinson) — The RHS Lady Maroons went two of three in Saturday action. In game one of the day, the Robinson beat Mt. Zion 4-1. Eva Hermann earned the win for RHS, surrendering six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out eight and walking none. The Lady Maroons fell short in the game two of the day, falling 8-5 to Olympia. Avah Myers took the loss for Robinson. The righty went six innings, allowing five runs on 10 hits, striking out one and walking two. In the third game of the day, Hermann was dominant, ringing up eleven strikeouts en route to the Lady Maroons 6-1 victory over Gillespie. She allowed three hits and one run over seven innings while walking five. The Lady Maroons are 16-7 overall and set to face Edwards County this afternoon on the road. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
