(Undated) — Gas prices have seen a jump in recent days. According to GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, average gasoline prices rose in 39 thirty-nine states over the last week, with the national average moving higher. De Haan says oil prices have been climbing again as markets react to “renewed geopolitical tensions” and the cancellation of talks between the U.S. and Iran. He says as a result, gasoline prices are set to rise further this week, with diesel expected to follow. The current national average is $4.15 a gallon. Despite a statewide average of $4.43 a gallon, most stations in Crawford County have seen prices soar to $4.49 a gallon recently. The statewide average in Indiana is $3.99 a gallon.
