(Robinson) — The Robinson Fire Protection District is alerting the public to ongoing training. According to a post on their official Facebook page, “if you see their trucks parked near local businesses or driving through your neighborhood, don’t be alarmed, there is no emergency.” Crews are out conducting “Pre-Incident Planning.” The post says this is a vital part of their mission to keep the public safe. They says during these walkthroughs, firefighters identify building layouts, locate hydrants, and evaluate hazards. They believe that the best time to learn about a building is before an emergency happens.
