Bogard Sentenced to 45 Years on Child Porn Charges

(Robinson) — A Robinson man has been sentenced to four decades on child porn charges. Jason Bogard was sentenced yesterday after being charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography. According to court records, he was sentenced after signing a plea agreement. Under the plea agreement, Bogard pled guilty to counts 1, 2, and 5, and the other 3 counts were dismissed. He was sentenced to 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on each of the three counts to be served consecutively. Bogard was arrested and booked into the Crawford County Jail in late January on six counts of child pornography. According to court documents, between December 1st, 2025, and December 6th, 2025, Bogard had image files that depicted the lewd exhibition of a female child under the age of 13, as well as an image file depicting the simulation of the child performing sexual acts on an adult male.
