(Undated) – It appears that the blast of winter weather that was set to cause travel problems this morning, never really materialized. While the WTYE listening area did receive some light freezing rain and ice overnight, it was not nearly what the weather service had predicted. According to the forecast for the rest of the day, it is going to stay wet and rainy. We can expect to see scattered showers through the rest of the day with daytime highs in the 40’s. The wind-chill will certainly be a factor today with winds gusting up near 25mph. Sunshine will return tomorrow and hang around through most of Friday.
