Lady Statesmen Fall to Wabash Valley College

(Robinson) — The LTC Lady Statesmen fell to Wabash Valley College in weekend softball action. LTC was shut out in game one, 7-0. Lily Hickman opened the game for LTC, allowing six hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking none. Kaitlyn Kendall pitched the final three frames. In game two, the Lady Statesmen fell 6-1. Kendall took the loss, giving up five hits and five runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking three. The Lady Statesmen are slated to be back in action this afternoon for a pair of games at Kaskaskia.
