Gas Prices Continue to Climb to Record Highs

(Undated) — Gas prices continue to surge nationwide. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.43 a gallon, thirty-seven cents higher than a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has climbed to nearly five dollars a gallon, hovering around $4.92, sixty-two cents higher than last Monday. The statewide average in Indiana is $4.83 a gallon, a $1.05 higher than a week ago. Oklahoma has the lowest prices in the nation at $3.87 a gallon. California drivers are paying the highest statewide average at $6.06 a gallon.
