(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded continues to slip lower. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.49, a nickel lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen four cents from Friday to $4.95 a gallon. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying $4.37 a gallon, twenty-seven cents lower than Friday. Oklahoma has the lowest prices in the nation at $3.93 a gallon, down four cents from yesterday. California drivers are paying the highest statewide average at $ 6.10 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday’s average.
