(Robinson) — No charges will be filed in the March 26th incident involving an adult male from Indiana and a juvenile. According to Crawford County State’s Attorney, Cole Shaner, he presented the evidence from the thorough investigation conducted by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office to a grand jury. He explains that a grand jury is a criminal proceeding in which 16 county citizens hear evidence and decide whether to indict, or criminally charge someone in a potential felony case. Shaner says the grand jury “did not feel the evidence warranted an indictment.” Therefore, they returned a “No True Bill” in the case, meaning no criminal charges will be filed against the accused.
