(Undated) — We could be in for some wet and stormy weather. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, thunderstorm chances are expected Friday through early next week. However, “the severe weather threat is uncertain at this time.” The current forecast calls for the best chance of rain on Saturday afternoon. Here at the studio, we have already recorded just over three inches of rain in May, bringing our two-month total for April and the first part of May to over eight inches. WTAY/WTYE continues to be an official weather recording and reporting station for the National Weather Service.
