(Robinson) — The RHS Maroons rolled to a 10-0 five-inning shutout of the OPH Wildcats yesterday. Graysen Brown earned the win for RHS, surrendering one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking two. Lucas Blessing took the loss for OPH, going two and two-thirds innings, surrendering six runs on five hits, striking out two, and walking three. Felix Reynolds led Robinson with three hits in three at-bats. With the win, the Maroons improve to 13-15 overall, 3-4 in the LIC. They will be back in action tomorrow at 4 p.m. when they take on Newton in the Effingham Regional.
The RHS Lady Maroons will be in action tomorrow as they travel to Monticello for their Sectional Semifinal match-up against Tolono Unity. The Lady Maroons won the 2A Regional Championship on Friday in a thrilling walk-off victory over T-Town.
