(Robinson) — Tomorrow will be the Grand Reopening celebration of the new Crawford County Airport terminal building. Vice Chairman of the Crawford County Airport Authority, Mark Herman, says, “This is far more than a new terminal.” “It is living proof that even after total devastation, a community can come together, secure the resources needed, and emerge stronger. The March 2023 tornado, which impacted parts of Crawford and surrounding counties, destroyed the Crawford County Airport, leveling every building, destroying 19 aircraft, and scattering debris across the airfield. The Grand Reopening, “A Day of Aviation Heritage, Community, and Celebration,” is set for tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
