(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen another nine cents from Friday. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.00 a gallon. Drivers here in the Land of Lincoln are paying a statewide average of $4.31, down nine cents from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.33 a gallon, down four cents from Friday’s average, giving Indiana the lowest prices in the nation. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.69 a gallon, down nine cents from Friday.
