(Robinson) — The City of Robinson 4th of July Festival gets underway tonight. Robinson Mayor, Mike Shimer, says the City is excited to be able to offer a carnival this year.
Shimer says the carnival will open tonight at 6 p.m. and be open nightly through Saturday and bracelets will be $20. Shimer says the week will also include nightly entertainment and plenty of food. Entertainment tonight will feature the Robinson Community Band. The concert will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. According to Shimer, the celebration will culminate with “the biggest fireworks display ever in the City” on Saturday.
