Nearly Thirty Inches of Rain Recorded Since March

(Undated) — If you feel like it has been a wet start to 2026, you’re right. Here at the WTAY/WTYE studios, we’ve recorded nearly thirty inches of rain since March. According to our records, March brought nearly six inches of total rainfall. April brought just over five inches. In May, we recorded nearly seven inches of rain. Last month, we saw right at nine inches of rainfall. Last year, we recorded twenty-five inches of rain over the same period. WTAY/WTYE has served as an official weather recording and reporting station for the National Weather Service for more than two decades.
