Ameren Offers Tips to Keep Your Bill Lower During the Summer

(Undated) — As the heat wave continues, Ameren Illinois is urging customers to take steps to keep their power bills under control. Public Relations Strategist, Karly Combest, suggests using fans in addition to your AC, keeping your air filter clean, keeping your blinds and drapes closed as much as possible, cooking outside to keep the heat outside, and taking advantage of a “smart thermostat.” Combest says using some or all of these tips will help to keep your utility bills lower during the current extreme heat.
