(Undated) — Hot and possibly stormy weather looks to impact our July 4th weekend. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, heat index readings will peak around 105 degrees this afternoon and 100 to 105 degrees tomorrow afternoon. They say thunderstorms will be possible today and tomorrow. However, the “risk threat” remains low with just a 5-15% chance of scattered damaging wind gusts. In addition, any storm that develops will be capable of “torrential downpours” and localized flash flooding.
