Stormy Weather and Cooler Temperatures in the Forecast

(Undated) — Stormy weather and cooler temperatures are in our forecast. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, isolated thunderstorms are possible south of I-70 today. However, the threat of severe weather is low. They say following the storm, a cold front will slowly move through the area Thursday and Friday bringing the next round of more widespread showers and thunderstorms. There is a marginal risk, level 1 of 5, for severe thunderstorms on Thursday, especially in the evening and overnight hours. They say additional severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out on Friday and Saturday.
