(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has moved back above the four-dollar-a-gallon mark. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.10 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.26 a gallon. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.54 a gallon, making it the cheapest place to gas up in the nation. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation with a statewide average of $5.58 a gallon.
