According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, additional periods of showers and thunderstorms are anticipated today through tomorrow night. However, these are not expected to be severe. They say there will be daily chances for thunderstorms through Tuesday, and those storms do have the potential for severe weather and heavy rain, although uncertainty in timing and location remains high. Furthermore, increasing heat and humidity will bring heat index values to around 100 for Sunday and Monday, and could result in heat-related illness with extended exposure.
