Authorities Highlighting “Road to Zero” Survey

(Undated) — IDOT and the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission are asking for the public’s input. Communities across Illinois are working to build “Comprehensive Safety Action Plans” to serve their regions and need your help to ensure success. The statewide “Road to Zero” safety initiative is a data-driven program led by the Illinois Department of Transportation to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries on local roadways. The public is being asked to take a couple of minutes to share their transportation experiences, concerns for traveling in their region, and suggestions for improvement. The GWRPC serves Crawford, Edwards, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, Wayne, and White counties in southeastern Illinois. To take part, find the survey at ilsafetyactionplans.org/survey.
