(Undated) — Gas prices have slipped slightly lower over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.03 a gallon, down five cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.29, down three cents from the end of the week. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is also down three cents, hovering around $3.59. Louisiana has the lowest prices in the nation, hovering around $3.52 a gallon, down two cents from Friday. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.53, four cents lower than Friday.
