Wet and Stormy Weather Likely to Impact the Area

(Undated) — Wet and stormy weather remains in our forecast. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, scattered storms will linger over the area today. They say gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are the primary hazards. A chance of showers and thunderstorms remains likely with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. The wet weather is forecast for the overnight hours as well before sunshine and cooler temperatures return Thursday. Sunshine and highs in the low eighties are forecast through the weekend and into the early part of next week.
