Gas Prices Remain Above $4 a Gallon

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of gas remains just above the $4 mark. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.03 a gallon, down six cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.24 a gallon, down six cents from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is down six cents, hovering around $3.38, making Indiana the cheapest state in the nation to fill up. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.63 a gallon, down a penny from Friday.
