(Undated) — Hot and humid weather is in the forecast. A “Heat Advisory” will go into effect this afternoon at 1 p.m. and remain in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday. According to the National Weather Service, sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 90s will continue through at least Friday, with afternoon “feels like” temperatures as high as 103 tomorrow. The temperature is forecast to begin to fall by Sunday, with highs for Labor Day in the upper 80s. The public is reminded to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
