Palestine Village Board Has Busy Agenda

(Palestine) — The Palestine Village Board has a busy agenda for tonight’s meeting. On the agenda, they are set to hear from Todd Monti on behalf of the AmVets Motorcycle Show, as well as discuss and/or approve allowing the AmVets to block the 200 block of South Main and to have alcohol on Main Street. The board will also discuss and/or approve a privacy fence around the DPW building, applying for a grant for Heritage Hall to put in a generator for a warming and cooling center, the purchase of a 2-user Sage 50 program, updating the employee handbook, updating the building permit ordinance fee, and a possible donation to the Chamber for help with expenses for the 250th Celebration. In other business, the Village Board will discuss holding a community involvement meeting for the “5-year” plan for the Village. The Palestine Village Board meets today at 5 p.m.
