Details Have Been Released About Monday’s Two State Police Chase

(Undated) — Details were recently released about the two-state chase that ended in Hutsonville Monday afternoon. According to Sullivan County authorities, the sheriff’s office was notified that Ethan Glidewell, of Greenup, was traveling into “the area” from Crawford County. Deputies in Cumberland County advised officers to be on the lookout for Glidewell, who was wanted there in connection with aggravated battery and auto theft charges. Sullivan County deputies located Glidewell on U.S. Highway 41 and followed him before initiating a traffic stop, which Glidewell fled, resulting in a vehicle pursuit. Authorities say multiple stop-sticks were used during the pursuit. Crawford County authorities were finally able to disable Glidewell’s vehicle, and he surrendered in Hutsonville. He was booked into the Crawford County Jail on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Fleeing or Eluding, and on an out-of-county warrant.
