(Undated) – The annual Labor Day festival in Palestine gets underway tonight with the first night of rodeo action and continues through Monday. Tomorrow will feature the “Main Street Market Madness” in downtown Palestine, the annual “Chuckwagon Breakfast,” and night two of the rodeo. The final rodeo performance will be on Sunday. Monday will feature one of the largest parades in the area. The Palestine Labor Day Parade will step off at 10 am on Labor Day. Also, organizers remind the public not to miss the “show after the show.” The Tommy Kelly Band will be performing in the “Coors Light Beer Tent” tonight following the rodeo. Tomorrow night will feature Cornfield Mafia as the featured post-rodeo entertainment. Sunday’s “show after the show” will feature X-Crush in the beer tent. Rodeo action begins tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday at 7 p.m. Central Time. Tickets can still be purchased at the Palestine Chamber office.
