Lady Maroons Fall to Marshall in Volleyball Championship

(Robinson) — The RHS Varsity Volleyball Team came up just short in the Robinson Invitational on Saturday. Robinson picked up wins over Martinsville, North Knox, and North Central, but fell to Marshall in the Championship contest. Head Coach, Sydni Bailey, says every single player on the roster contributed. She says they ran many different lineups and had success in each of them. Bailey says the girls missed a lot more service than normal and that affected them negatively, especially when it came to the championship game. The girls will be back in action on Tuesday for a road game at Matinsville.
