Fall Officially Begins Next Week

Together, these factors cause the length of day and night to vary by latitude. Typically, the equinox occurs around September 22nd-23rd each year. This year, the “Fall Equinox” is on Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:05 p.m. Central. Meteorological Fall actually began on September 1st, running through November 30th to match calendar months for weather tracking.
