Maroons Pick Up Win Over Casey-Westfield

(Robinson) — The RHS Maroons jumped out to an early lead and never trailed en route to a 20-13 win over Casey-Westfield. Robinson scored 17 points in the first half, added another 3 in the 3rd quarter, and went scoreless in the 4th for the win. With the win, Robinson improves to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the LIC. They will be back in action next Friday, the 18th, when they welcome the Marshall Lions to Crosby Field. Elsewhere, the 0-3 Palestine/Hutsonville Pioneers will face off against Pawnee today for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Oblong Panthers have an off week before continuing their season next Friday against South Fork.
