September is “National Preparedness Month”

(Undated) — September is “National Preparedness Month.” Each September, FEMA’s “Ready Campaign” celebrates National Preparedness Month. Since 2004, the campaign has taken the month to encourage Americans to prepare for emergencies. The month is a great time to take small steps to make a big difference in being prepared. They say having enough food, water, and medicine can help you stay safe and comfortable until help arrives in the event of an emergency.
