Severe Weather Possible Through the Weekend

(Undated) — Weekend weather could bring severe storms to the area. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, a couple of isolated thunderstorms are possible today and tonight. They say that while severe storms are not likely, any storms could produce heavy rainfall and localized flooding. They say additional thunderstorm chances will persist tomorrow through Monday night, and a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible tomorrow afternoon and evening and again Sunday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts and isolated hail will be the primary concerns Saturday and Sunday. Some of these storms could produce locally heavy rain through Monday.
