RHS Soccer Team Riding Five Game Winning Streak

(Robinson) — The RHS Soccer Team is riding a five-game winning streak following last night’s 3-0 win over Sullivan. Head Coach Hillary Maxwell says they had a tough first half against Sullivan, not working well as an offense, making lots of runs but couldn’t finish anything. Fortunately, the defense played tough, but it was a lot of back-and-forth for the first 40 minutes. She says after a rough pep talk at halftime, they came out firing early. She says Rico Diaz assisted Zoe Tuttle with a goal 30 seconds into the second half and that set a good pace. Maxwell says it was a good game for the Maroons overall. They are slated to be back in action this afternoon for a home game against Newton.
