RHS Volleyball Team Beat Oblong

(Robinson) — It took three sets, but the RHS Varsity Volleyball team hung on for a win over Oblong last night: 15-25, 25-23, 25-17. Sicily Rawlings finished with sixteen assists, three aces, eleven digs, and one kill. Lily Brown led the team in kills with eight. OHS Head Coach Pam Johnson says too many errors in the second and third matches cost them. She says the girls will keep pushing to get better and learn from their mistakes. With the win, Robinson improves to 9-5 on the season. The Lady Panthers fall to 9-10. RHS will be on the road to Marshall Thursday for their next contest, and OHS is set to face Dugger Union tonight.
