Hydrant Flushing Announced

(Undated) — The Robinson Palestine Water Commission has announced the schedule for hydrant flushing. They will be flushing hydrants in the Northeast section of Robinson beginning on October 1st. Hydrants in the Northwest section will be flushed on October 5th and 6th, followed by the Southeast section on October 7th and 8th, and the Southwest section of Robinson and the New Hebron area on October 12th, 13th, and 14th. Trimble and the Old Kirk districts will see flushing from October 19th through the 23rd. They will wrap up in Palestine from October 27th through the 30th. Customers are reminded that discoloration in the water will be temporary. They say that while the water is safe to consume, you may want to run faucets until the discoloration disappears and hold off on laundry while the discoloration is present.
