(Undated) – The Crawford County Health Department is reminding the public about its flu shot clinics for both adults and children. The next clinic is set for today and is for both kids and adults. The CCHD says appointments are not required for adult shots. However, they are required for kids’ flu shots. You are asked to call 618-544-8798 to schedule appointments. Today’s clinic runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. They remind the public there is a charge for the seasonal flu shot, but Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and several other insurance companies can be billed for flu vaccinations. They ask that recipients have their insurance cards ready to “speed up the process.” They say “High Dose” vaccinations will be available for those 65 years and older. Find the full schedule below.
