Gas Prices Slip Slightly Lower

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell seven cents over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.3. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is down five cents at $4.63. In Indiana, the statewide average is also a nickel lower than Friday at $3.74 a gallon, making Indiana the nationwide “low price leader.” California has the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $6.35 a gallon, four cents lower than Friday.
