RHS Soccer Team are LIC Champions

(Robinson) — The RHS Soccer Team picked up a big 5-1 win over Richland County last night to become LIC Champions. Head Coach, Hilary Maxwell, says the Maroons played a great game in the final home game of the season. Maxwell says there was a lot of weight on the kids’ shoulders, but they had a “fire lit under their butts” thanks to an early goal by Richland County and the Maroons started scoring pretty quickly, finishing the first half up 3-1. The Maroons got goals from Joel York, Hayden Bonnell, Tucker Reed, and Case Beisner. RHS will next play in the Regional Semifinal Game at Richland County vs Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21st.
