IDOT to Host Career Fair in Effingham

(Undated) — The Illinois Department of Transportation is hosting a career fair in Effingham next month. Staff will be on site to discuss technical and administrative support opportunities for multiple IDOT job locations throughout the area. Attendees will learn how to apply for state jobs. Central Management Services will be on hand to explain the application process and offer in-person guidance for creating a state employment profile, applying for state positions, and other best practices for pursuing a career with the state of Illinois. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop. The Illinois Secretary of State’s office will have staff present to answer questions on obtaining a commercial driver’s license for positions where one is required. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is recommended but not required.
