Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $4.12 a gallon, eight cents lower. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen eight cents from Friday to $4.70 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average is down seven cents from Friday to $3.80 a gallon. North Carolina has the lowest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $3.36 a gallon, three cents lower than Friday. California has the highest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $5.85, six cents lower than Friday.
