Oblong Village Board Meets Today

(Oblong) — The Oblong Village Board meets this afternoon. On the agenda, the board will review delinquent water bills, approve the investment policy, and discuss the Christmas Bonus. They will hear a request for extended hours from Nick Hintersher, review the water and sewer ordinance, approve VFW Members to be at the 4-way stop on Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, taking donations for their annual Poppy Day sales, and give permission for the Treasurer to open an account for the Illinois Funds. The Oblong Village Board meets this afternoon at 5 p.m. in the Farley Room of Village Hall.
