VFW Poppy Day is Coming Up

(Oblong) — The Village of Oblong is reminding the public that the VFW will be at the four-way stop this weekend. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, took to Facebook yesterday to remind the public of the upcoming VFW Poppy Day. Fielder reminds everyone that the VFW will be handing out poppies this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Fielder encourages those who can to donate and thank a veteran.
