Gas Prices Continue to Trend Higher

(Undated) – Gas prices are once again trending up. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.52, up six cents from a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.86 a gallon, up three cents from last Friday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.64 a gallon, nine cents higher than a week ago. Mississippi drivers are paying the least for a gallon of gas with a statewide average of $2.92, while drivers in California are paying the most at $4.77 a gallon.
