(Undated) – Farmers statewide are getting ready for harvest and keeping a watchful eye on diesel prices. GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, says while gas prices decline in the fall, diesel prices typically climb.
De Haan says as we move into the fall he expects diesel prices to start to tick higher, especially if the Fed lowers interest rates. De Haan says diesel use increases when the economy is “stronger.”
