(Undated) — A new report from the Better Business Bureau shows an increase in social media scams. According to the BBB, in the past scammers used texting to obtain financial information but now hackers and scammers are turning to social media. BBB Investigator, Don O’Brien, says they’ve seen a sixty-three percent increase in social media scams in recent years. O’Brien says Facebook tends to be the primary driver for some of these scams.
